Adora MALI Limited Edition International 22 Inch Thai Doll From 2007

Precious little Mali is from Adora’s 2007 Limited Edition Collection of only 300.  She is about 22 inches tall with a vinyl head and below the elbow arms and ¾ length vinyl legs on a soft cloth body. Mali, whose name means beautiful flower, has black hair and brown eyes. She is looking forward to attending the local annual Thai Winter Festival. Her slate-colored pleated denim skirt and matching jacket are emblazoned with embroidered beads, bands of cotton batik applique, and silver metal studs and bangles. Her cotton batik hat and matching bib are printed with traditional Asian ‘hmong’ designs and are also lavishly embellished with metal studs and flowers. The detail Adora put in the International dolls is amazing. Her pointy little shoes are made of the same fabric as her outfit and are also embroidered and trimmed with metal studs and decorations at the ankles. We purchased several of the Adora International dolls from a local adult collector who did not have room to save the boxes or COA’s. She had them displayed and over the years accessories were lost or misplaced. We have looked them all up in our Adora catalogues to obtain the information about the dolls and have taken lots of photos of each doll so you can see exactly what you are purchasing, making mention of things we noted as missing or not quite right. Most of the dolls have their LE necklaces with their photos and dates as well as their wrist tags, and may need a tiny bit of TLC and are missing some of the jewelry or accessories. This gal has some beads missing on the arm of her jacket and is missing her beaded necklace and bracelets. Other than that, she is amazing! The doll in the photo is the doll you will receive as pictured.
